Shahid Kapoor's fans might be thrilled at their favourite actor's small screen debut, but the joy might be short-lived.
According to a Daily Bhaskar source, the "Haider" actor will quit "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8" in a few weeks time.
"The makers of the show have already roped four judges; Shahid Kapoor Karan Johar, Ganesh Hegde and Lauren. Shahid had committed his dates for only eight episodes. Since, the makers were very keen in working with Shahid Kapoor; they agreed to his terms of being a part for only few starting episodes," the insider further elaborated.
Karan Johar, Lauren Gottlieb and Ganesh Hegde will unleash their expert comments on performances of 12 celebrities -- Sanaya Irani, Ashish Chowdhry, Vivian DSena, Kavita Kaushik, Subhreet, Radhika Madan, Dipika Samson, Rapper Raftaar, Faisal Khan, Mohit Malik, Scarlett Wilson and Shamita Shetty.
In other news, the Kapoor lad is all set to marry Delhi girl Mira Rajput on 7 July at the Oberoi in Gurgaon's Udyog Vihar, which will be followed by a glitzy reception in Mumbai on 12 July.
The suave star's wedding has been in news for quite some time, and the guest list among other things has been under severe speculation. While Sonakshi Sinha and Kareena Kapoor Khan said they would attend it if invited, a close friend of the star reportedly revealed none of his exes will be invited on his special day.
Shahid will be next seen in Vikas Bahl's "Shaandaar" alongside Alia Bhatt, and in Abhishek Chaubey's "Udta Punjab".
