Dance reality show "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa" is gearing up for a new season and various speculations regarding the contestants and the judges have been doing the rounds for quite some time now.
It has been learnt that Shilpa Shetty, a former judge of "Nach Baliye", has given her nod to replace Remo D'Souza in "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8".
Besides, the "ABCD 2" director, none of the previous seasons judges - Madhuri Dixit Nene and Karan Johar - have been replaced.
"There were numerous reports that both Karan Johar and Madhuri Dixit will be leaving the show. But none of them are. It's Remo who has been ousted from the show by the makers. Instead it's Shilpa who's come on board," a source told DNA.
This has come as a huge relief to Madhuri fans, who were dissapointed after rumours about the actress being replaced on the show started doing the rounds. For the past four seasons, the gorgeous actress has been adding glamour to the show.
Meanwhile, several names of probable contestants of "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8" have emerged.
Kavita Kaushik aka Chandramukhi Chautala of "FIR", "Rangrasiya" actress Sanaya Irani, former "Balika Vadhu" actress Neha Marda and Sargun Mehta have been approached for the upcoming season.
Child artist Faisal Khan, who rose to fame with his stunning performances in "Dance India Dance Li'L Masters 2", is likely to participate.
Besides them, Dipika Samson aka Simar from popular show "Sasural Simar Ka", Moroccan model Nora Fatehi, Radhika Madan aka Ishani from "Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi", Parth Samthaan and Puneet Issar are likely to participate in "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8".
RJ Pritam, who rose to fame with "Bigg Boss 8", is also said to have been finalised to co-host the new season of the dance show.
