Rumours of Zoya Akhtar roping in television actress Jennifer Winget alongside Fawad Khan and Ranveer Singh in her next have been doing the rounds for quite some time. But, the recent Instagram post of Jennifer has raised eyebrows as it looked like the actress has confirmed being part of Zoya's next.
She wrote: #rumourhasit... haven't you heard? and whaddyaknow, maybe it's 'bout time! Now wont that be #adreamcometrue." However, the star cast of Zoya's next has not been confirmed, but speculations rife that Ranveer and Fawad will star in it. And, the recent buzz is that Jennifer will make her Bollywood debut with it.
Earlier, Jennifer was supposed to make her debut with "Phir Se" with director Kunal Kohli. But, the movie couldn't be released due to legal issues. It will be interesting to see Karan Singh Grover's ex-wife alongside two handsome hunks of Bollywood on the big screen.
It was said that Hrithik Roshan was supposed to star in Zoya's next, but then the "Mohenjo Daro" actor was replaced by Fawad. Hrithik and Zoya worked together in "Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara." "She loved Fawad in Kapoor & Sons and decided to work with him right after watching the film. However, she never had him in mind while writing this film. When Hrithik said no, she was in need of a dashing hero who could also act well. Fawad totally fit the bill," DNA had quoted a source as saying.
In fact, during IIFA 2016, Ranveer dropped a hint in a very clever manner that he and Fawad might work together in a film. Ranveer said that he wanted to work with Fawad in a film and asked the media to put the word out. "Don't you want to see these two handsome dudes together?" he quipped while interacting and then, later he said: "We are coming soon!" Was it a silent confirmation?
