Two things stand out in Jennifer Lawrence's upcoming movie's poster: the graphic depiction of the actress ripping her heart out and her unconventional look.
In the new movie titled, Mother!, the actress looks like a painting brought to life. Released on the Mother's Day, the poster promises a spine-chilling experience.

Mother! is a psychological horror movie. Darren Aronofsky, who is known for his works revolving around grim psychological themes, shook up Hollywood with films like Pi and Requiem for a Dream. The Black Swan director is Lawrence's boyfriend. He released the poster on Twitter on Mother's Day
'HAPPY mother! DAY' Darren tweeted alongside the artwork, a painting done by artist James Jean.
The movie, that assures a dark and unnerving viewing experience, will release around the time of Halloween. While fans wait for the first trailer, the movie's first poster already gives a glimpse at the morbid darkness in the offing.
The actress is dressed in a white gown against a garden like background in the poster with a tranquil look on her face. The contrast imaginary is truly disturbing.

The movie is about a couple whose relationship is put to the test when unwelcome guests show up at their doors. Aronofsky has scripted the movie and fans could expect another dark, mind-boggling movie by the end of this year.
Apart from Lawrance, the movie has Javier Bardem, Ed Harris, Michelle Pfeiffer, Kristen Wiig, and Domhnall Gleeson in lead roles. The film is slated to release on October 13, 2017 (Friday the 13th?!).
