In a rare step, Jennifer Garner took to Facebook to set the record straight about the People magazine's story that talks about her life post split with Ben Affleck. The cover story for the June 12 issue goes with the headline - "Jennifer Garner: Life After Heartbreak."
The story quotes unnamed source and says that Garner is "doing okay" after her divorce from Affleck. The source told People magazine that Garner still says that Affleck was the "love of her life." The cover page of the magazine even features a photo of the actress with "Jennifer Garner: Life After Heartbreak" title.

However, this didn't go well with the 13 Going on 30 actress, who in a Facebook post slammed the magazine. "It has been brought to my attention that there is a People magazine cover and article out today that appear to be coming from me. It isn't unusual for me to receive calls from loved ones thinking I forgot to tell them I am pregnant--with twins!--(Geez Louise), but those are so ridiculous they're easy to ignore," she said.
She further said, "This isn't a tragedy by any measure, but it does affect me and my family and so, before my mom's garden club lights up her phone, I wanted to set the record straight:
"I did not pose for this cover. I did not participate in or authorize this article."
"While we are here, for what it's worth: I have three wonderful kids and my family is complete."
While Garner has slammed the magazine for the story, a spokesperson for People magazine in a statement to CNN said that they stand by their story. "PEOPLE covers Hollywood stars beloved by our audience, and our story on Jennifer Garner is fair and truthful," the statement said. "To be clear, it does not include rumours and does not say she's pregnant. We wish her well."
In 2015, Garner and Affleck announced that they are separating after 10 years of their marriage. The estranged couple remained friends and in April 2017 filed for divorce. They are now seeking for the joint custody of their three children – Violet, 11, Seraphina, 8, and Samuel, 5.
