The on-screen chemistry of Mammootty and Nayantara has been accepted well by the Kerala audience, and hence the duo's latest film, AK Sajan directorial "Puthiya Niyamam", is all set to become the next blockbuster in Malayalam.
A few days ago, rumours of the actors reuniting for hit-maker Jeethu Jospeh's upcoming movie started doing the rounds on social media. However, the director has now come forward to say the rumours are not true as he hasn't signed any project with the megastar yet. Jeethu has also said he is planning to meet Mammootty to discuss a project.
"I am planning to meet Mammootty about a movie but haven't had the opportunity to do so yet. I can't confirm that I am doing a movie with him when he's not even heard the story. He has to like it and sign on before we take any other steps," Jeethu told the Times of India.
Jeethu, who is known for directing Mohanlal's "Drishyam," its Tamil remake Kamal Haasan's "Papanasam," Dileep's "Life of Josutty" and "My Boss," has already announced his next project, "Oozham", with Prithviraj Sukumaran. The upcoming movie, which is the second outing of Prithviraj and Jeethu after "Memories" (2013), is expected to go on floors by the first week of April. After the revenge thriller, Jeethu is also reportedly gearing up to direct Kavya Madhavan in a women-centric movie.
