Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's "Jazbaa" box office collection has shown good growth on the second day. "Jazbaa" box office collection increased by approximately 30 percent on the second day (Saturday).
"Jazbaa", directed by Sanjay Gupta, minted Rs 4.23 crore on Friday, and Rs 5.49 crore on Saturday, thus taking its overall box office collection to Rs 9.72 crore.
"#Jazbaa biz witnesses SOLID growth on Sat. Good word of mouth has translated into strong biz. Fri 4.23 cr, Sat 5.49 cr. Total: ₹ 9.72 cr," trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted.
The action thriller had a slow start, but the business increased due to strong word of mouth. "Jazbaa" business is further expected to increase on its third day (Sunday).
The film will take its opening weekend box office collection to approximately Rs 15 crore. If it manages to earn Rs 15 crore, then it will surpass the box office collection of films, including Anushka Sharma's "NH10".
"Jazbaa", which is a remake of South Korean film "Seven Days", is made on a budget of approximately Rs 30 crore.
Directed by Sanjay Gupta, the film features Aishwarya Rai, Irrfan Khan, Shabana Azmi, Jackie Shroff, Siddhanth Kapoor and Priya Banerjee in important roles.
