After 2001 blockbuster "Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham" legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan will be seen again with his wife and actress Jaya Bachchan in Deepak Sawant's Bhojpuri film "Ganga Devi".
Amitabh, who is working with his wife after a gap of almost 11 years, said that workplace changes when your wife is on the set. He said there are lots of restrictions on the sets and he gets conscious in Jaya's presence.
"When your wife is on the sets with you, then your behaviour also changes, there are lots of restrictions, there is always a discipline on the sets or else when you go back home, the situation goes out of control," Amitabh said according to the Press Trust of India.
"I hope you all will promote Ganga Devi and the audience likes it," he added.
According to the news agency, the regional film is about the reservation for women in elected bodies, and the 69-year-old actor plays an important role in it. Amitabh and Sawant had previously worked together "Ganga" and "Gangotri", both of which did well at the box office.
"I am glad to be part of this film. Deepak is like family and when he approached me for this film, I did this film without any hesitation. I know him now for 30 to 35 years," Amitabh said.
"He is my makeup man, he takes care of my face and it was my duty to give him something in return. The best part of working with them (Sawant) is that they finish shooting for 30 to 35 scenes in a day so that I don't have any problem," he added.
The actor is working free of cost in "Ganga Devi" which is produced by his make-up man Deepak Sawant and directed by Abhishek Chaddha. The film also features Dineshlal Yadav 'Nirahua', Pakhi Hegde, Girish Sharma, Awadhesh Mishra and Vinay Bihari.
