The hit Japanese legal drama will be made into a Korean series by JTBC. Veteran actors Jin Goo and Seo Eun Soo have been confirmed for the lead roles of the upcoming drama.
JTBC announced on December 10 that it has confirmed Jin Goo and Seo Eun Soon as the leading cast of "Legal High". The high voltage drama is expected to narrate the story of two lawyers with different perspectives of life. According to JTBC "Go Tae Rim is a lawyer with a 100 percent success rate who knows how to play with the law and Seo Jae In is a rookie lawyer who believes in law and justice". The drama series is the adaptation of 2012 Japanese drama titled the same.
As per reports, Jin Goo will essay the role of Go Tae Rim, a sharp-tongued arrogant lawyer. His character believes in winning at the cost of justice. He has the reputation of winning impossible cases with a guarantee for paying his high legal fees.
The role of Seo Jae In is played by Seo Eun Soo who has her eyes set on justice irrespective of the money involved. The character aims to provide justice and faces a crossroad with society's mentality that "A lawyer who can't win is useless" forcing her to join hands with Go Tae Rim. The drama series follows the challenges faced by the two lawyers in each other's company.
According to the production staff, "Jin Goo and Seo Eun Soo plan to bring laughter to viewers as they take realistic situations head-on". The original drama series was written by Ryota Furusawa and directed by Junichi Ishikawa.
The Korean adaptation of "Legal High" is set to premiere in February 2019 on JTBC.
