'Janatha Garage' US box office collection: Jr NTR-Mohanlal film crosses $1 million mark in 3 days

"Janatha Garage," starring Junior NTR and Mohanal, has made good collection at the U.S. box office in three days. The film has surpassed the $1 million mark in the country on Saturday.

"Janatha Garage" opened to earth-shattering response and collected $584,225 at the U.S box office in the premiere shows. The movie was expected to fare well on Thursday and cross the $1 million mark on the first day of its release in the country. But the film showed sleep decline and failed to live up to the mark.

The Junior NTR and Mohanal-starrer showed growth on Friday, but it was not up to the expected mark. "Janatha Garage" collected $215,221 at the U.S. box office on its second day, taking its total collection to $953,037. The movie once again failed to surpass the mark in the country.

As per early trends, the Koratala Siva-directed action drama film has witnessed decent growth on Saturday. As per hourly estimates, "Janatha Garage" collected $277,754 at the U.S. box office on Saturday, taking its three-day total collection to $1,231,704. "Janatha Garage" has become the fourth movie of Junior NTR to cross the $1 million mark in the U.S. after "Baadshah," "Temper" and "Nannaku Prematho." It has also become the fastest $1 million grosser for the actor. The film has become the second film of director Koratala Siva to surpass the mark after "Srimanthudu."
