The shooting for Kortala Siva's upcoming movie "Janatha Garage" is in full swing, with actors Junior NTR and Malayalam superstar Mohanlal lending powerful performances during the movie's third filming schedule. Music director Devi Sri Prasad has completed the composition of four tunes for the film.
Written by Kortala Siva himself, "Janatha Garage" is said to be an action film with other commercial elements thrown in. Its shooting began in the last week of Feb. 2016. The team completed two schedules in Hyderabad and Mumbai in a month. The third schedule of shooting began at the specially erected set in Saradhi Studios in Hyderabad on March 25.
Mohanlal, who is playing an important role in "Janatha Garage," joined the film unit in the third week of March. The team is shooting for the sequences featuring Junior NTR, Mohanlal, Samantha and Unni Mukundan in the third schedule, which is expected to be wrapped up soon.
Mohanlal forayed into Tollywood with director Priyadarshan's 1994 movie "Gandeevam," which starred late Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Nandamuri Balakrishna and Roja. He is making his comeback to the Telugu film industry after 22 years. No wonder he is all excited about it. He had posted a couple of selfies on his Twitter handle March 29, with the caption, "Location selfie with Jr. NTR and Director Koratala Siva at the sets of Janatha Garage."
Devi Sri Prasad had announced Feb. 1 that he is teaming up with NTR and Siva for "Janatha Garage." He had tweeted, "Excited 2 start composing once again with dear @sivakoratala for @tarak9999 #JANATHA GARAGE !! Rocking Script yo" He further wrote Feb. 8, "On d day of #MIRCHI 3 years, its awesome fun 2 be with @sivakoratala sir composing 4 @tarak9999 JANATHA GARAGE !!"
The music director confirmed Thursday that he has finished scoring music for four songs, which have been penned by Ramajogaiah Sastry. Besides posting a photo, he tweeted, "Had a grt day composing 4 #JANATHAGARAGE wit Dear @sivakoratala sir n @ramjowrites sir @tarak9999 @MythriOfficial." The lyricist retweeted him and wrote, "Lucky to work with lovely people :)"
