Janatha Garage, which was released in over 2,000 screens across the globe on September 1, has turned 50 day old in theatres on Thursday. The movie has completed 50 days in over 39 cinema halls and it achieved this rare feat despite clashing several big ticket releases in the recent weeks. This fact has thrilled Junior NTR, who took to his Twitter handle today to share his excitement with his followers.
In a series of tweets, Junior NTR wrote: "And 50 it is!thanks one and all for this phenomenal and memorable success. And a bigger thanks to @sivakoratala it was your focus and sheer will power that led us all into this victory. And not to forget the support given by the cast and crew on janatha garage, fans, audience, media, and our well wishers. thanks!"
The producers of Janatha Garage wrote on official Twitter handle of Mythri Movie Makers: "Celebrating 50 days of #JanathaGarage." They also released a poster featuring the names of the theatres where it completed 50 days. Director Koratala Siva, cameraman Tirrunavukarasu and lyricist Ramajogaiah Sastry also took to the social media platform to thank the audience and other members of the film unit for the movie's huge success.

However, Janatha Garage, which has been made with a budget of Rs 50 crore, has collected over Rs 140 crore gross at the worldwide box office in 50 days. The film is estimated to have earned a share of Rs 86 crore for its global distributors. The movie has returned the investments with a profit share of Rs 18.6 crore for its distributors, who shelled out Rs 67.40 crore on its theatrical rights.
