Pakistan violated ceasefire yet again on Sunday in the RS Pura sector of Jammu and Kashmir. The Border Security Force (BSF) is currently monitoring the situation.
Pakistani troops have violated ceasefire along the Line of Control (LoC) over 30 times since the Indian Amry carried out surgical strikes on terror launch pads across the LoC in Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir on the night of September 28, killing two Pakistani soldiers and 38 terrorists.
Pakistani rangers had also violated ceasefire at Bobiya post in the Hiranagar sector of the state on Friday, killing one BSF soldier Gurnam Singh. The BSF retaliated to the firing killing seven members of the Pakistan rangers and one terrorist.
Ceasefire violation also took place in the Rajouri and Poonch districts of Jammu and Kashmir on the same day.
Indian security forces also arrested two Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists in Baramulla district on Saturday while a spy from Pakistan was arrested on Friday in the Samba sector located along the international Border.
Weapons, including an AK-47 rifle, were recovered from the terrorists. The forces retrieved two Pakistani SIM cards and a map showing the locations where security forces had been deployed, according to local media reports.
