At least two soldiers of the Indian Army died after Pakistan violated ceasefire in the Krishna Ghati sector along the Line of Control in the Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday.
The soldiers were critically injured in cross-firing. They, however, succumbed to their injuries later. The deceased include an Indian Army officer and a head constable of the Border Security Force (BSF).
The Pakistan Army fired rockets in the sector located along the LoC in the state. They also used automatic weapons.
