Colombian star James Rodriguez's future at Real Madrid has been in question for most of this season after he failed to become a regular under Zinedine Zidane. Rodriguez has been linked with a number of clubs in the past few months and after not even making the bench for Real Madrid's Champions League final against Juventus, he will be expected to leave in the summer.
Despite proving his form in the last few games when Zidane gave him a chance, the Colombian was overlooked for the final in Cardiff. He scored six goals in his last nine games and kept on impressive in all the cameos he got for Real Madrid but despite that Gareth Bale, Alvaro Morata and Marco Asensio got the nod ahead of him on the Real Bench.

Rodriguez was not even used in the semi-finals against Atletico Madrid and played just seven minutes off the bench in the quarter-final first leg win over Bayern Munich. There is no doubt that he is one of the most talented players out there and any team would be lucky to have him.
A player of his calibre would definitely not want to just make cameos and being just 25-years old, he should be playing every game at this point in his career. The Colombian has notched up 11 goals and 13 assist this season and that is despite not being a regular in the starting 11.
Rodriguez has most notably been linked with Chelsea and Manchester United in the past but over the summer we might see more clubs come after him. However, that fact that Real Madrid want at least £50 million for him might see a few clubs back off. There is no doubt that Rodriguez is one of the most talented footballers out there but his valuation is too much.
Despite that, Chelsea and Manchester United, two of the biggest clubs who have shown an interest in him so far, have never been shy of spending money.
Both teams are looking to add reinforcement to their squads ahead of next season and are known to spend a lot of money. Antonio Conte is looking to add more depth to his squad as he prepares for the Champions League next season.
Jose Mourinho will also not have a problem in spending that much money on James after they cooled off their interest in Antoine Griezmann, who looks set to stay at Atletico Madrid.
