Prithviraj Sukumaran
Prithviraj, who will be seen as James in the film, has already become a trendsetter with his two different looks in "James and Alice" — one as a stylist artist and another in a salt-and-pepper avatar. With many back-to-back blockbusters, Prithviraj is on top at the box office in Kerala. Even though the last release of the actor — "Darwinte Parinamam" — couldn't rock the box office, the previous movies "Ennu Ninte Moideen," "Amar Akbar Anthony," "Anarkali" and "Paavada" made him one of the most bankable actors of the industry with the maximum number of projects in his kitty over the next two years.
Vedhika
Vedhika, who hails from Maharashtra, has already established herself as a South Indian actress and was accepted well by the Kerala audience for her performance in the movies "Sringaravelan" and "Cousins." The upcoming movie marks the comeback of Vedhika and Prithviraj after their superhit Tamil movie "Kaaviya Thalaivan," in which they were seen as theatre artistes. She plays Alice opposite Prithviraj in "James and Alice."
Sujith Vaassudev
The Malayalam entertainment industry has seen many technicians turn directors. "James and Alice" is the directorial debut of Kerala State Film Award-winning cinematographer Sujith Vaassudev, who has cranked the camera for many superhit movies. The colourful visuals of the upcoming movie are also been captured by Sujith. His reunion with Prithviraj after the films "7th Day," "Anarkali" and "Memories" has already raised the expectations of the audience from the movie.
Pre-release hype
The colourful posters and songs of the movie have already impressed the audience. The one-minute trailer of the Prithviraj-starrer looks romantic and hints that it narrates a tragedy in the life of James and Alice.
