Salman Khan starrer "Jai Ho" has finally crossed the ₹100 crore mark in India. The action-packed political drama has become the first film of 2014 to touch the ₹100 crore mark.
"Jai Ho" is Salman's sixth film to cross the ₹100 crore mark in India. Other films include "Ek Tha Tiger" which grossed ₹198.7 crore, "Dabangg 2" with ₹155 crore, "Bodyguard" with ₹148.86 crore, "Dabangg" with ₹138.88 crore and "Ready" with ₹119.78 crore.
"Jai Ho", which stars Daisy Shah in the female lead, took 10 days to cross the coveted ₹100 crore club. The film grossed over ₹88.78 crore in it first week and ₹13.80 crore in its second weekend.
"#JaiHo *actuals* Week 1 - 88.78 cr, Wknd 2 - 13.80 cr. Grand total: ₹ 102.58 cr nett. India biz only. Figures confirmed by Eros," trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted.

Though "Jai Ho" has been earning money on a steady and decent note, the collections have been nothing like Salman's previous releases.
However, "Jai Ho" is expected to fetch more in its second week since the film has gone tax-free in Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat states.
Directed by Sohail Khan, the film also features an ensemble cast, including Tabu, Suniel Shetty, Danny Denzongpa, Genelia D'Souza and Mohnish Behl among others.
