Filmmaker Prakash Jha is coming up with his next directorial, "Jai Gangaajal", soon. The director has also acted in the flick with leading actress Priyanka Chopra. Recently, Jha took to Twitter to slam reports of making voluntary cuts for a "UA" certificate for the film.
It was earlier reported that the Central Board Of Film Certification (CBFC) wanted to give the film an "A" certificate due to a few violent and abusive scenes, but Jha did not agree and wanted a "UA" certificate. The filmmaker has now slammed reports that he made voluntary cuts to this end, and said they are inaccurate and misleading.
"Misleading and inaccurate! Never made voluntary cuts.. We are going in appeal against the CBFC's decision.. (sic)" Jha tweeted.
After news of the "UA" certification spread on social media, Twitterati went crazy regarding the voluntary cuts issue. This led Jha to share the apparently erroneous report on his Twitter handle and inform people he never made any cuts.

The film is the sequel to Ajay Devgn-starrer "Gangaajal", and Priyanka Chopra is playing the lead role of tough-as-nails cop Abha Mathur in "Jai Gangaajal". Interestingly, Jha himself is playing a pivotal role in the flick, which will release on 4 March.
Priyanka is currently in the news due to her first American television show, "Quantico", where she plays the protagonist, an FBI recruit. Apart from this major project, Priyanka has also stolen hearts in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's period drama "Bajirao Mastani".
