British luxury carmaker Jaguar's first SUV model F-Pace has been adjudged Women's World Car of the Year (WWCOTY) 2016. WWCOTY is the only car award voted for entirely by women. Jaguar's fastest selling vehicle won the Women's World SUV/Crossover of the Year title.

F-Pace was among the 294 cars nominated by 17 judges from 14 countries this year. Judges picked six category winners from the 32 cars that made the final list. McLaren 570S bagged Holly Reich Dream Car Award created in memory of American judge and professional writer Holly Reich who died in October 2015. Honda Civic emerged the winner of the Family Car Award while the Japanese automaker's Jazz picked up the Budget Car Award. The Performance Car Award went to Ford Mustang, while Volvo S90 won in the luxury car category. The Green Car Award was bagged by Toyota Prius.
Jaguar India launched the F-Pace at the price range of Rs 68.40 lakh to Rs 1.12 crore on October 21. Offered in Pure, Prestige, R-Sport and First Edition, the F-Pace is brought to India as completely Built Unit (CBU). Pure and Prestige variants of the F-Pace are powered by a 2.0-litre diesel engine from the Ingenium family while R-Sport and the First Edition are powered by a six-cylinder 3.0-litre diesel engine.
