The rumoured lovebirds, Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif, who have been working on back-to-back assignments, will reportedly spend quality time together for their next.
Kaif had been busy with "Bang Bang" promotions while Kapoor was shooting for "Tamasha" opposite ex-girlfriend Deepika Padukone. Now, the duo will share the screen space in Anurag Basu's "Jagga Jasoos", with an extensive shoot of over three months in India as well as overseas.
The first schedule of "Jagga Jasoos" was shot at Cape Town in South Africa and now, the remaining portions of the film will be shot in Mumbai followed by Manipur and Thailand.
"The film's first schedule (July-August) was in Cape Town, South Africa. The second schedule begins in Mumbai this month with Ranbir and Katrina. After which they head for Thailand and Manipur. Katrina has been busy with Bang Bang promotions while Ranbir has been shooting for Tamasha with Deepika Padukone. The couple are looking forward to spending time on the set together," a source told DNA.
Incidentally, this will be the first time that a Bollywood movie has been given a nod by the local authorities to shoot in Manipur.
Although, the makers received the permission after struggling for over a year, they are quite sure that shooting in jungles of Manipur will be a tough one for the entire team considering that there is no lush provision for stay in the remote area.
"Jagga's final schedule begins this month and ends in December. After that, the film will be complete. It will have Ranbir and Katrina and shooting in Mumbai, Manipur and then for a week in Thailand. The two will be present for shooting throughout till December. Shooting in the jungles of Manipur will be gruelling considering there are no luxurious resorts there. It's going to be tough for everybody," confirmed director Basu.
Meanwhile, the "Barfi" star who has no releases this year, will hit the screens with two big releases in 2015. First, Anurag Kashyap's "Bombay Velvet" opposite Anushka Sharma that has already completed its shooting and scheduled to release in the early half of next year followed by "Jagga Jasoos" that will hit the theatres a few months thereafter.
