Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has kept his promise of offering Jacqueline Fernandez a film in his own production Salman Khan Films (SKF).
SKF's third project "Jugalbandi" has been offered to Jacqueline, according to a source. Apparently, Parineeti Chopra's name was initially making the rounds as the film's female lead. But now the "Roy" actress might get the role.
It is also being reported that the decision was taken during Baba Siddiqui's Iftaar party.
Jacqueline is Salman's fan and has all the reasons to accept the offer. "Jackie is very fond of Salman and she can't say no to him. Plus, she has liked the script. So she will be doing the film. Currently, she has asked her team to work out the dates for the film," an insider close to the actress told DNA.
Jacqueline has her hands full with many projects. She will be seen in "Brothers" along with Akshay Kumar and Sidharth Malhotra; the movie is slated to be released on 14 July. She is also working with Varun Dhawan in "Dishoom", another film "Flying Jat", and "Housefull 3".
On the other side, Parineeti, who had no release after "Kill Dil", has lost this film too. The actress went on a break after her last flick with Ranveer Singh. Presently, the promising actress has nothing on her hands.
"Jugalbandi" is a musical film to be directed by Sameer Sharma starring Saif Ali Khan. Reportedly, the film has many songs and therefore, Kareena Kapoor Khan, who admires Salman, will shake a leg with her husband in the film.
The "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" actress will have a guest performance in the film, which is slated to go on floors in January next year in London, according to Daily Bhaskar.
Kareena, who last appeared with husband Saif in a cameo role in "Happy Ending", will once again reunite with him in Salman Khan's production.
