Mumbai, Nov 21 (ANI): Bollywood actress Jacqueline
Fernandez along with the Members of People for the
Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) met Mayor Sunil
Prabhu and put forward a report on the ill treatment of
horses forced to draw carriages. Peta has been working
towards a complete ban on carriage horses and they
requested the mayor to check on the numerous illegal
horse stables in the city. PETA has even shared some
shocking photos of these horses most of whom were
injured, sick and severely malnourished. The Mayor has
apparently assured the team he would look into the matter
and take necessary steps.
