Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez has been confirmed as a judge on the dance reality show "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9." This will be Jacqueline's first TV show and she will join Karan Johar and Ganesh Hegde on the judges' list.
Earlier, there were reports that Karan wanted Kareena Kapoor Khan to be one of the judges, but now recent reports say Jacqueline has already shot the promo of the show. "Jacqueline shot for the promo of the show on Friday. The last season of the show had Shahid Kapoor and Lauren Gottlieb as judges along with Ganesh Hegde and Karan Johar. However, this season will see Jacqueline replacing Shahid as a judge. Lauren might also not be part of the show. Karan and Hegde might return to the show," a source told the Times of India.
The "Housefull 3" actress had earlier won hearts with her dance skills to songs like "Chittiyan Kalaiyan" and "Lat Lag Gayee." Fans would be happy to see the Sri Lankan beauty as a judge on the popular dance reality show.
The report suggests "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa" will replace "India's Got Talent" next month. Contestants on the show this year include Helly Shah, Karishma Tanna, Shakti Arora, Arjun Bijlani, Siddharth Nigam and Sonali Raut. Also, "Bigg Boss" winner Gautam Gulati and Spandan Chaturvedi were reportedly in talks for the show, but nothing has been confirmed yet.
Other possible contestants of "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9" are Manish Raisinghan, Sanjeeda Shaikh, West Indies cricket team's popular players Chris Gayle and Dwayne Bravo, Adaa Khan, Surveen Chawla, Mandana Karimi, Nora Fatehi, and Ruhaanika Dhawan.
