Jacqueline Fernandez, who was supposed to romance Bollywood's hunk Hrithik Roshan in Kabir Khan's next movie, has reportedly missed the opportunity to share the screen space.
Roshan has walked out of the film as he is busy with the promotions of his much awaited film, "Bang Bang", that will be released on 2 October. Additionally, the actor has allotted most of his dates to Ashutosh Gawarikar's "Mohenjo Daro". With such packed schedule, the actor had no choice but to quit the project.
"Hrithik doesn't have the dates for Kabir's film. He has already allotted the first half of 2015 to Ashutosh. And then there are few assignments that are prior commitments. Hrithik and Kabir did meet to work out the possibility of teaming up. Despite wanting to be a part of the film, Hrithik has been unable to work out the dates for Kabir," a source told Deccan Chronicle.
Of late, the Sri Lankan beauty has grabbed the attention of film makers after the super success of "Kick" opposite Salman Khan. And when the news of Fernandez being paired opposite Roshan surfaced, it appeared like the beginning of a golden period for the leggy lass. However, it now looks like the actress will have to wait a little longer to share the silver screen with the "Krrish" actor.
"This is the best phase of her career. After Salman, teaming up with Hrithik would've worked wonders for her," the source added.
Besides, Kabir's ambitious and untitled project was supposed to start immediately after the wrap up of his another film "Bajrangi Bhaijaan", starring Salman and Kareena Kapoor. But now, as the "Bang Bang" actor has opted out of the project, the makers will have to look out for another lead actor to be paired opposite Fernandez.
This is not the first time that Roshan has unceremoniously walked out of a project. He had previously walked out of Karan Johar's "Shhuddhi", after the film was being delayed majorly.
Meanwhile, Fernandez will soon start shooting for her next project "Bangistan", where she makes a special appearance.
On the other hand, Roshan's "Bang Bang" opposite Katrina Kaif has garnered overwhelming responses from the audience, who has both the trailer and the recently released song "Tu Meri". The film also stars, Jaaved Jaffrey, Danny Denzongpa and Pavan Malhotra in pivotal roles.
