Jacqueline Fernandez and Katrina Kaif are often compared for two reasons – both being from outside India and sharing good rapport with Salman Khan. However, the "Dishoom" actress said that they entering Bollywood from outside is the only common factor and comparisons between her and Katrina are not fair.
Jacqueline opined that she and the "Baar Baar Dekho" actress are different persons. "That's the only similarity. The comparisons aren't fair, because both of us are different individuals, and people should see things that way," Jacqueline told Hindustan Times.
The gorgeous diva also said that Katrina has always been and still is an inspiration for people who enter the industry from outside. "Over the years, she has achieved a lot. When I had first come here, she was like an example. It was like 'If Katrina can do it, I can do it too.' She was and still is an inspiration for a lot of people who have come from outside India," she added.
While Katrina and Salman were in a relationship earlier, rumours of the actor dating Jacqueline during the making of "Kick" had also made headlines. Salman had raised many eyebrows when he had jokingly said that Jacqueline was 'kicked out" of "Kick" sequel. However, the comment appeared to be made in jest.
Jacqueline's latest release "Dishoom" starring Varun Dhawan and John Abraham is witnessing a decent run at the box office. She will next be seen in "A Flying Jatt" starring Tiger Shroff. On the other hand, Katrina is in news for her upcoming movie "Baar Baar Dekho" alongside Sidharth Malhotra.
