Legendary director Yash Chopra may have left for heavenly abode but his wife Pamela Chopra is leaving no stone unturned to promote her husband's last film "Jab Tak Hai Jaan", which is scheduled to release this Diwali.
The ace director wanted to host a grand premiere for his last directorial venture, "Jab Tak Hai Jaan". With his sudden demise on Oct 21 his wishes will be fulfilled by Pamela.
On Saturday, Pamela said that a grand film premiere will be organized to celebrate the release of "Jab Tak Hai Jaan " this Diwali. "I want to give my husband an unforgettable farewell. Accordingly, we have decided to have a grand premiere for his ultimate film, Jab Tak Hai Jaan, exactly the way he wanted it. This is a fitting tribute to a man who would have had it no other way," she said.
According to reports, the premiere would be held on Nov 12, a day before the release of the film. Chopra's two sons - Aditya and Uday - will take care of all the preparations for the grand event.
"I have asked my sons Aditya and Uday to go ahead with all the preparations. This premiere is our way of celebrating his illustrious life, rather than mourning it," Pamela said.
The romantic film features Shahrukh, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma in the lead roles. Chopra breathed his last after suffering multiple organ failure and dengue. Weeks before his death, the filmmaker announced on his 80th birthday that "Jab Tak Hai Jaan" would be last film as director.
