The bookings for Tata's recently revealed new Nano GenX AMT are open in the country with a down payment of ₹5,000.
In its bid to revive the market, Tata Motors, the maker of least expensive car, has unveiled a new avatar of Nano dubbed GenX Nano Easy Shift. Nano GenX AMT, the first model in the Nano line-up to come equipped with AMT and functional bootlid is expected to see its launch in the country in May this year. The mode is likely to get a price tag around ₹2.75 lakh.
Unveiled earlier last week, Nano GenX will be available in seven colours including new colour options Sangria Red. Expected to be available in four variants ― XE, XM, XT and XTA (AMT) ― Tata Nano GenX is expected to get the same 624cc twin cylinder petrol engine that can churn out a 38PS peak power and 51Nm peak.
A report of Auto Car India says that, the deliveries of Nano GenX are likely to begin immediately after the launch and the Nano GenX AMT is expected to have minimal waiting period. Going by the report, the Manual GenX is likely to be delivered soon.
For the existing Nano users in the country, Tata has launched exciting offers and schemes called Power of 1+1 programme. The customers will get the best exchange rate for their old Nano along with a special bonus of ₹20,000. In addition to this, Nano customers can enrol for a referral programme, which could fetch them a cash prize of ₹5,000 for each referral.
