It's Confirmed: Sunny Leone to Make Telugu Film Debut with Manoj Manchu's 'Current Teega'

"Ragini MMS 2" star Sunny Leone is all set to make her Telugu film debut soon.

The former adult film actress will star in Manoj Manchu's Telugu film "Current Teega." Directed by G Nageswara Reddy, "Current Teega" has Rakul Preet as the female lead opposite Manoj and Sunny Leone will be doing an important role in the film.

In a press statement, the production team said, "Sunny Leone is a big entertainment factor buzzing the cinema today and we wanted to introduce her in Telugu cinema in a role that will appeal every movie buff in this part of the world."

Leone is also happy to have grabbed the role in "Current Teega."

"I am really excited about my role in Current Theega. It's an important character created to entertain you thoroughly," the actress said in a statement.

Leone made her bollywood debut with "Jism 2" in 2012. She has also starred in films such as "Jackpot" and "Ragini MMS 2."

After achieving popularity in bollywood, Leone is making inroads in the south film industry. The actress will be seen in an item song in the upcoming Tamil film "Vadacurry", starring Jai and Swati Reddy. Now, it has been officially confirmed that the former porn star will be making her Telugu debut with "Current Teega."

The Manoj starrer is produced by Vishnu Manchu under 24 Frames Factory. "Current Teega" is the company's first production without Vishnu doing any role in it.

The film's camera will be handled by Satish and music will be composed by Achu.
