There has been a lot of buzz about Murugadoss's next project after "Kaththi."
Speculations were rife that the director might team up with Ajith once he wraps up the Vijay starrer, which is set to hit screens for Diwali.
But, it has been confirmed that Murugadoss will be directing a Hindi film next. Sonakshi Sinha will play the main lead in the film, touted to be a woman-oriented action entertainer. The film's shooting will commence in November and Sonakshi has confirmed it on her twitter handle.
Its official! My next is a woman oriented Action film dirctd by the genius behind Ghajini & Holiday @ARMurugadoss! We start in november :)

Murugadoss has said that there will be no male hero in his new film. "There will be no male hero in the film. Sonakshi Sinha will play the main lead. She will be the hero of the film, much in the same way as Aamir Khan in Ghajini and Akshay Kumar in Holiday," Murugadoss told Subhash K Jha of SKJ bollywood website.
Apparently, Sonakshi will be doing a lot of stunts, which will be based on the Indian martial arts from Kerala. It is being said that the actress will need at least two months time for the training.
The new film will be her second project with Murugadoss after the recently-released "Holiday – A soldier is Never Off Duty."
The director has worked with some of the biggest stars of Indian cinema including Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, Chiranjeevi, Vijay, Ajith and Suriya. His films have mostly been action-oriented subjects with the hero playing a strong character. For the first time, Murugadoss will be directing a film with an actress as the main lead.
The director has confirmed that he will start the yet-to-be-titled flick after completing "Kaththi," which is currently underway. "I left behind a 40-percent complete Tamil film Kaththi to make Holiday. Now I am going back to Chennai to complete that film. As soon as I finish that one I will return to make my film with Sonakshi," he told Jha.
Now that will put a stop to all the speculations about the director's next project. The Hindi film will be jointly produced by Fox Star and A.R Murugadoss Productions.
