It took a Gagan Narang to break India's medal draught at the ongoing London Olympics by winning bronze in men's 10m air rifle on Monday. Praises are pouring in from all quarters on winning India's first medal at the London Olympics 2012, which started on July 27.
Gagan shot a total of 701.1 to win bronze in men's 10m air rifle. Alin George Moldoveanu of Romania won the gold by shooting a total of 702.1 while Nicolo Niccolo Campriani of Italy won silver by shooting a total of 701.5.
Haryana government has announced a reward of Rs. 10 million for Gagan soon after he won the bronze. More rewards are expected to come in the days to come.
