Dressed in green attires, kids skated for saving the environment, holding banners and shouting slogans.The city of Kolkata in West Bengal state too witnessed an awareness rally that advocated for plastic-free country. The rally saw participation from visually-impaired students as well. June 5 marks World Environment Day, which is celebrated annually to raise global awareness about environmental issues and stimulate political action.
