Maharashtra, July 25(ANI): Traditional vermicelli makers worked extra hours in Maharashtra to meet demands of Muslims as Eid-al- Fitr is nearing, which marks the end of holy month of Ramadan. Muslims in India prepare special delicacies made of Vermicelli to serve guests on Eid. In old city of Khuldabad, women workers indulged in making traditional handmade vermicelli. A worker, Kaisaruddin, said Vermicelli making is one of the oldest and traditional works of Khuldabad, which is mainly practiced by women. Sweet vermicelli is a traditional Muslim dish which is eaten during the month of Ramadan. Ramadan is the ninth of 12 months in the Islamic calendar. Ramadan lasts for 29 or 30 days and culminates in the Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations, tens of millions across the Muslim world make every effort to be more spiritual.
