New Delhi, March 21 (ANI): India's Holi festival, known as the Festival of Colors, unites people of all ages, religions and castes and marks the advent of spring.
Revelers douse each other with colored powder and water, hand out sweets, and dance in the streets. The event also honors Hindu legends and Gods and devotees attend temple to present offerings and to pray. And even though its roots lie in Hindu beliefs, Holi is celebrated throughout the country by a wide range of communities.
