Gurgaon, Feb 7 (ANI): Music was indeed the binding force as mesmerised audience clapped and cheered to every rhythmic beat at the music awards function hosted by Afghanistan on Tuesday, in Gurgaon, the millennium city of India. The extravagant show was organised by Afghanistan's largest television network, Ariana Television Network (ATN) at Kingdom of Dreams in Gurgaon of northern Haryana province. Renowned Afghani singers along with dance troupes were seen entertaining the audience with their performances. Veteran Indian actor Sharat Saxena and Bollywood diva of yesteryears, Sharmila Tagore, were also present at the event. Earlier, many Bollywood films used to be shot in Afghanistan but because of the growing militancy in the region, film makers are now wary of venturing into that region.
