They have a jam-packed summer in store but Irish band Kodaline still have time to record their third album.
The High Hopes rockers were one of the first performers at the 2015 Isle Of Wight festival where the likes of Blur and Fleetwood Mac are headlining.
IBTimes UKs A-List bumped into Jason Boland and Mark Prendergast backstage where they confirmed the exciting news that their third album is in progress.
The band are yet to decide on a title but revealed that they have been writing songs while on their current tour.
Despite their hectic schedule, the pair admitted juggling touring with penning new tracks is what they love doing.
Prendergast added that they are able to carry the energy from a festival or tour into a song.
The four-piece released their acclaimed second album, Coming Up For Air, in February 2015.
The record peaked at number one in their native Ireland and soared to number four in the UK.
Having released their debut album, In A Perfect World, in 2013, Boland admitted it feels good to finally perform new material.
Kodaline are in good company on the Isle Of Wight line-up with Pharrell Williams, Paolo Nutini, The Prodigy and The Courteeners among the other performers.
When asked which artist from the bill they would choose to collaborate with, Boland and Prendergast praised pop newcomer James Bay who recently joined them on tour.
