The big day is here. The wait for over a year has finally borne fruit for the Indian Super League fans as the third season of the lucrative football tournament is set for a smashing start on Saturday evening. The venue is Guwahati, the steadily growing hub of Indian football.
When it comes to the Northeast, it is music and football which does all the talking, and one thing is for certain -- nothing but the beautiful game will be celebrated in the highest level possible in ISL 2016.
Ahead of the opening match between NorthEast United FC and Kerala Blasters, the ISL Opening Ceremony 2016 will be expected to catch the eye of the viewers and enthral them in an hour-long high-decibel performances.
One of B-Town's most entertaining starlets Alia Bhatt will be seen shaking her leg once again to her popular numbers Saturday Saturday and Kar Gayi Chull, while Kick and Housefull 3 star Jacqueline Fernandez, who has steadily grown to become one of Bollywood's top actors, will be setting the temperatures up as well once she takes the stage.
Badminton star PV Sindhu, who won the silver medal in Rio 2016 Olympics, will also be hogging the limelight in the event, along with the likes of Sachin Tendulkar, Ranbir Kapoor, MS Dhoni, Varun Dhawan, Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham and of course, the brainchild of Indian Super League, Nita Ambani.
The famed Shillong Chamber Choir, who featured in India's Got Talent season 2, will also be seen in a live performance.
