The Indian Super League is not just about foreign players coming into the frame and getting all the goals and bagging all the milestones. We cannot say that after this season's performances by the Indians so far.
The record of the fastest goal of the ISL this year was registered by FC Pune City winger Jackichand Singh, also an Indian, against Atletico de Kolkata on 17 October, but another Indian has just edged past his record.
Kerala Blasters striker Mohammed Rafi scored a brace for his side to get his fourth of the ISL this season in three starts so far, and he has now also bagged the honours of recording the fastest goal of the season.
The timer didn't even reach the one-minute mark, as an inch-perfect cross from the right flank by Chris Dagnall saw an unmarked Rafi rise the highest inside the penalty box and slot his header beautifully.
FC Pune defender Gouramangi Singh and Diego Colotto remained just mere spectators.

Jackichand's goal for Pune had come in at one-minute and 15 seconds of the start of the game, but Rafi's goal came in at just 28 seconds after the start of the match.
The second goal from Rafi came in the 30th minute as Josu Currais' cross from the left flank saw Rafi once again rise the highest to hit the crossbar, but the ball ultimately went in.
Kerala Blasters lost the game 3-2 however as Kalu Uche struck a brace for the home side as well and Tuncay Sanli scored the winning goal.
