A few days ahead of the official unveiling of Micromax Canvas 4, a mysterious device sporting the alleged specifications of the upcoming smartphone has made its appearance on e-retailer Lalajionline.com.
The device, named as Micromax Canvas Pro HD A120, was listed on the website for ₹18,990. According to the website, the device is currently in stock but there is no mention of delivery or shipment. With the device featuring many of the specifications expected to come with Canvas 4, its appearance on the website has raised questions on whether it is indeed the soon-to-be launched smartphone.
According to the listing on Lalajionline.com, the phone features a 5.5-inch full HD display with 1920X1080 pixel resolution, quad-core MediaTek Cortex-A7 processor with 2.0 GHz clock speed, PowerVR Series 5XT GPU with hyper threading technology, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system, 2GB of DDR3 RAM. Other specifications mentioned in the list are a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash, 3.2-megapixel front camera, 8GB of internal memory with the expandable option up to 64 GB vai microSD card, 3,000 mAh battery and connectivity features like 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, A-GPS, microUSB and 3.5mm audio jack.
Meanwhile, the Canvas 2 smartphone is slated for a release on 8 July and rumours about its specifications have gained momentum in the recent days.
Micromax has started accepting pre-orders with advance payment of ₹5,000. According to reports, the soon-to-be launched phone is already receiving a good response in the market. The company has been releasing several teaser images of Canvas 4 on its Facebook and Twitter pages during the past couple of weeks. The images indicate that the smartphone may arrive with a new unlock feature.
