Japan Warriors clash swords with Indian Aces in their opening game of the International Premier Tennis League 2016 (IPTL 2016) on Friday at the Saitama Super Arena in Tokyo. This is the second tennis match in the order of the day.
The first match of the day between UAE Royals and OUE Singapore Slammers resulted in the former bagging a 29-19 victory.
This year, only four teams are featuring in the cash-rich tennis tournament. It is taking place over three legs. While the first one is scheduled for Tokyo from December 2-4, the Singapore leg is scheduled for December 6-8 and the final leg at Hyderabad is scheduled from December 9-11.
Roger Federer, Kei Nishikori, Serena Williams, Martina Hingis and Ana Ivanovic are some of the big names hogging the limelight this year. The likes of Andy Murray, Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray, are, however, not competing.
