Kings XI Punjab head coach Sanjay Bangar feels that his side will be able to deliver yet another promising season just like their last one where they ended being the runners up after losing to Kolkata Knight Riders by 3 wickets in the final.

KXIP did not make any major alteration to their team in this year's auction held at Bengaluru, as the team's coach believes that they are a well-balanced side and balance will be the key.

" We have a well balanced team and the entire coaching staff is positive about the team's performance," Bangar said.

Currently KXIP are hosting their pre-season camp in Pune, where Beuren Hendricks, Parvinder Awana, Wriddhiman Saha, Anureet Singh, Shardul Thakur, Shivam Sharma, Nikhil Naik and Yogesh Gowalkar are likely to join. The camp will also see Virender Sehwag along with Manan Vohra, Murali Vijay and other international players Saturday onwards, reported iplt20.com.

"Last year was a good season for us and we would want to carry on the winning spree this season as well," Bangar added.

Players like David Miller, Glenn Maxwell and Mitchell Johnson will be crucial to the team after their stellar performance at the recently concluded ICC World Cup 2015. George Bailey will look to lead this power-packed KXIP side from the front. While he's a probable choice, other likely players are Miller, Maxwell and Johnson. Thisara Perera and Shaun Marsh might get an odd game or two but they will have step up to the occasion.

Sehwag and Saha are likely to open the batting for them with Vohra coming first down, followed by their fire powers. Last season, their best Indian pick was Axar Patel who troubled all the batsmen throughout the tournament with his accuracy and flight. His economical spells earned him a place in the Indian side after the last season. KXIP will take on the Rajasthan Royals in their first match on 10 April.
