The Indian Premier League is not only limited to on-field action but it is also about the entertainment factor, which has been witnessed in the past editions of the IPL. The tenth edition of the IPL (IPL 2017) is no different, with players having a gala time off the field and lending a tremendous atmosphere for the fans as well.
All the teams comprise of a good mix of Indian and foreign players, and Kolkata Knight Riders are no exception. There is always an element of fan engagement, which franchises try to achieve, and the same was witnessed with KKR, when their players and fans shared the stage for some light-hearted singing and dancing performances.
Kolkata Knight Riders players such as Kuldeep Yadav, Suryakumar Yadav and Darren Bravo were part of the event, which was attended by some KKR fans, who got a chance to get up close with some of their favourites. Jaques Kallis, the KKR coach, was also present for the karaoke event.
It was Kuldeep and two fans, who started everything off with the song, 'Neele Neele Ambar Par', and the leg-spinner sounded pretty good, singing in a confident manner.
It was followed by Rovman Powell, who sang the famous song by Queen, 'We will, We will Rock You', and Powell's performance thoroughly entertained his West Indian teammate Bravo, who could not stop laughing.
Kuldeep seemed to be enjoying himself as well, as he joined Surykumar in belting out one of the favourite all-time number, 'Zindagi, ek safar he suhana'.
However, it was Bravo, who stole the show when his chance came to show his skills on the stage. The West Indian cricketer, who is Dwayne Bravo's brother, sang his brother's hit number, 'Champion'.
Along with the singing, he also asked the audience in the crowd to stand up, and sing along. The players also enjoyed their light session, as they finished off with some dancing steps to the tune of 'Champion'.
They might have their fair share of fun, but these players will keep their focus on the upcoming Eliminator against the Sunrisers Hyderabad on Wednesday.
