What a super Sunday is in store for IPL 2017 fans as Sunrisers Hyderabad host Kolkata Knight Riders at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. They are two aggressive teams in the competition, playing some great cricket, and super confident ahead of this clash, which makes it for a entertaining encounter.
With the pitch expected to assist batsmen, KKR and SRH batsmen will be eager to bat, and a run feast is expected to take shape in Hyderabad.
Here is how the match could go.
If SRH bat first
David Warner is in dangerous mood, and Shikhar Dhawan also joins into the act of dealing in boundaries. They scored 62 runs in the first six overs, and the KKR bowlers look rattled, but Sunil Narine dismisses Shikhar in the eight over. There is no stopping Warner, who completes yet another IPL fifty.
Williamson is also going strong, but both the players are out in the 13th over. Yuvraj walks into the middle, and he destroys KKR bowlers. They look set for around 200 runs, but some wonderful bowling from Nathan Coulter-Nile at the end restricts them, but SRH still score 179 runs from 20 overs.
KKR open with Sunil Narine, who hits four boundaries in the first over. He, alongside Gautam Gambhir, is tearing apart the SRH bowlers. They score 78 runs in the first six overs. The base has been set, and Narine is out in the eight over.
Gambhir and Robin Uthappa are shining with the bat, scoring runs all around the park. Uthappa has taken the lead role, taking on the SRH bowlers and succeeding. Both the players complete their fifty as well.
Though Gambhir is gone, Uthappa carries his bat through with Manish Pandey to reach the target in the 19th over.
If KKR bat first
Narine is looking in nice touch. The left-hander is playing his shots with utter ease. Gambhir, on the other hand, is trying to give the strike to Narine, who is taking all the risks. The openers score 64 runs in Powerplay.
Narine loses his wicket in the ninth over, but he has done his job, scoring 47 runs. Uthappa joins Gambhir, and the two Indian players score their runs in boundaries. They are scoring runs at will. Gambhir falls after scoring his fifty.
Uthappa and Pandey power KKR to 190 runs in 20 overs.
Warner and Shikhar are in electric touch, as they score 73 runs in six overs. They even complete their 100 runs in the 11th over. The target suddenly looks easy with both the players in the middle.
However, there is panic as they lose three quick wickets of Warner, Shikhar and Williamson. Yuvraj, who has not been impressive in his last few matches, looks the old Yuvi, and he is striking it clean. The left-hander is playing a gem of an innings to push SRH to victory.
Yuvi and SRH need to score 25 runs in the last two overs. The left-hander hits four fours in the penultimate over and hits a six in the final over to win the game for SRH.
