Kings XI Punjab go into another must-win match in IPL 2017, with the Mumbai Indians the next team they need to beat in order to stay in contention for the playoffs.
Having pulled off an commendable win over KKR in their last home game at Mohali, KXIP now need to pick up Ws away from home, starting with this one at the Wankhede.
Already-qualified MI's motivation will be sealing a top two place in the IPL 2017 points table.
Here is a look at how Mumbai Indians vs Kings XI Punjab could go.
If Mumbai Indians bat first:
Lendl Simmons gets going early and the West Indian puts on a quick partnership with Parthiv Patel.
After a 17-ball 29, Parthiv falls to Mohit Sharma, but Simmons and Nitish Rana put on a half-century alliance.
Rohit Sharma comes and goes quickly, but there are no such worries for Kieron Pollard, who smacks a few big sixes, with Hardik Pandya joining in as well, as MI finish their innings on 194.
Martin Guptill struggles a little early on, against his former team, with Manan Vohra scoring the bulk of the runs in the first three overs of the Powerplay. The New Zealander eventually finds his touch and the two KXIP openers get their team off to a great start.

With a 64-run partnership, the platform is set, and Shaun Marsh comes in and keeps the chase going at a really good pace.
When Guptill falls after a well-made half-century, Glenn Maxwell joins his compatriot Marsh, and the two are able to stay with the required run rate, with the game going to the final couple of overs, where KXIP require 29 runs.
Two sixes from Maxwell off Jasprit Bumrah quickly brings the equation down, and with just 12 runs needed off the final over, the Kings XI Punjab captain is able to take his team to victory and keep them in the playoffs hunt.
If Kings XI Punjab bat first:
Vohra is dismissed by Harbhajan Singh in the first over of the match, but Guptill and Marsh are able to stick together to take the Kings XI Punjab total to 49/1 after the Powerplay.
The innings slowly but surely finds momentum as these two experienced batsmen find their groove.
Despite the nice partnership between Marsh and Guptill, Kings XI need a really strong final assault to get to a defendable total, and that is where Maxwell and Axar Patel come in, with the two smashing sixes and fours in the last five overs, which yields 74 runs and takes KXIP to 202.
Simmons gets MI on their way in the big chase with a quickfire 38. And while the West Indian is unable to carry on, Parthiv and Rana ally for 42 runs, which keeps MI on course.
Rohit then comes in and looks in that "I will chase this score down" zone, and thanks to a glorious half-century from the captain, and a little help from Pollard and Pandya, MI are able to breach Kings XI Punjab's score and pick up a win.
