Big players and big teams– a perfect combination for a wonderful IPL 2017 final as Mumbai Indians are set to take on Rising Pune Supergiant at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Sunday. Mumbai Indians and RPS have some wonderful players in their ranks. Here is a look at some of the big guns from both teams.

Mumbai Indians

Rohit Sharma

The Mumbai Indians skipper has to lead from the front. He has not been consistent in this competition, and if he gets going in the final, he could win the match singlehandedly for Mumbai. Though he has shown some flashes of brilliance, he was unable to convert starts. Rohit knows this is his final chance to deliver in IPL 2017, and the Mumbaikar will be ready.

Kieron Pollard

The West Indian all-rounder has been used as a middle order batsman by the Mumbai Indians this season and has played an important role in helping his team emerge victorious in some matches. Pollard's ability to finish off games with his big willow will be needed for Mumbai Indians, and if they lose early wickets, his experience will come handy in dealing with such situations.

Jasprit Bumrah

Toss the ball to Jasprit, and he will not only stop the run flow with his deadly yorkers, but also take wickets. The pacer has been a huge asset for Mumbai throughout IPL 2017, and more importantly at the end of the innings, when his toe-crushers do most of the talking.

MS Dhoni

The former RPS skipper loves the big stage, and he produces his best in crunch situations. The stage cannot get any better than this. Dhoni is not all hammer and tongs, but can play as per the situation of the match. Not to forget, his magic behind the wickets could lead to some cheeky dismissals.

IPL 2017: M - 15, R - 280, HS - 61*

Steve Smith

The Australian has had a fine time in India, from the four-match Test series against India to IPL 2017. However, Smith has not struck gold this time despite some good innings. Will this be his night in Hyderabad? He can head back to Australia with an innings to remember and help RPS win their first title in his maiden stint as the franchise captain.

Dan Christian

In Ben Stokes absence, Dan will have to get things rolling with both the bat and ball. The all-rounder has had a decent season, but it is time for him to shift gears when it matters most. A little over 30 runs and a couple of wickets could vindicate his picking.
