Zaheer Khan will miss a second game for the Delhi Daredevils, which means Karun Nair will lead in the fast bowler's absence again as DD host the Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2017.
The Daredevils captain pulled up in DD's match against KKR on Friday, with that hamstring problem forcing Zaheer to sit out the game against KXIP on Sunday.
Zaheer has not recovered sufficiently to be a part of this match against the Sunrisers Hyderabad, either, with Karun set to captain the side for a second straight game.
The Feroz Shah Kotla crowd will hope the Daredevils find their mojo on home soil, after a couple of woeful performances.
With the batting looking wobbly and the bowlers asked to do a little too much, the Daredevils will know they need to add more steel to their batting lineup.
That is where Marlon Samuels, brought in as a replacement for Quinton De Kock late last week, could come in.
Samuels joined the DD squad over the weekend and while he wasn't considered for the match against Kings XI, having had a couple of days to settle in now, the West Indian could be brought in for this one.
If Samuels does come in, though, the Delhi Daredevils will have to drop either the opener Sam Billings or a bowler/all-rounder.
Billings might not have found form on return to the playing XI against Kings XI Punjab, but he has been one of the more consistent batsmen for DD in IPL 2017.
Chris Morris is too good an option with bat and bowl to sit out.
Corey Anderson has not had the greatest couple of games, but he is a potential match-winner, as he showed in the win over Kings XI at the Kotla on April 15.
Kagiso Rabada has come in and bowled with venom while also showing some good form with the bat.
If Samuels is brought in, the player most likely to miss out is Anderson, although the way the Delhi Daredevils think at times in regards to team selection does make you go "what on earth are they thinking."
The Sunrisers Hyderabad have a far more settled playing XI, and unless there is an injury or a niggle, the playing XI is likely to be the same that beat KKR on Sunday.
In that match Warner grabbed most of the spotlight with a sparkling century, but the young pace bowlers Siddarth Kaul and Mohammed Siraj also impressed.
Both should keep their place in the playing XI – which would mean Ashish Nehra missing out – with the only possible change being Deepak Hooda, who missed the last game, coming in for Bipul Sharma.
Confirmed playing XI:
Delhi Daredevils: Sanju Samson, Shreyas Iyer, Karun Nair (C), Angelo Mathews, Rishabh Pant, Corey Anderson, Chris Morris, Kagiso Rabada, Jayant Yadav, Amit Mishra, Mohammed Shami.
Sunrisers Hyderabad: Shikhar Dhawan, David Warner (C), Kane Williamson, Moises Henriques, Yuvraj Singh, Deepak Hooda, Naman Ojha, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Rashid Khan, Siddarth Kaul, Mohammed Siraj.
