The Kolkta Knight Riders (KKR) started their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2015 campaign by registering a comfortable win over the Mumbai Indians (MI).

Tonight, they will face the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), which has one of the most powerful batting line-ups in the tournament.

When a team faces Chris Gayle, Ab de Villiers and Virat Kohli as their opponent, there are reasons to worry because these batsmen have the capability of tearing apart any bowling attack in the world; especially, de Villiers, who has been in flying form.

He was the highest run getter for South Africa in the recently concluded ICC World Cup 2015. He amassed 482 runs in just seven innings at an average of 96.40.

Morne Morkel, who was awarded the man of the match in the first game of the IPL, said that he is ready to take the challenge of bowling to his national teammate Ab de Villiers. "You can't really plan against AB de Villiers. He is a world-class batsman," Morkel told IPLT20.

"We can only look to enjoy the contest between bat and ball and try to execute our plans well. AB has got all the shots in the book and he scores 360 degrees round the ground.

"He reads the game too well. I think you need to think on your feet and just try to enjoy the experience and execute as best as possible."

Morkel admitted that it is tough to bowl to players like de Villiers and that too in a quick outfield like Eden Gardens. He is looking forward to repeat what he did against the Mumbai Indians the other night and also lauded his team's bowling attack.

" We as a bowling unit prepare to enjoy the challenge and just enjoy the atmosphere. The other night here was special to play and hopefully we can have another entertaining game," he added.
