Chennai Super Kings skipper MS Dhoni has said the loss to Rajasthan Royals in match no.15 of Pepsi Indian Permier League (IPL) 2015 in Ahmedabad on Sunday will only make his team better.

CSK put up a dismal show with the bat against the Royals after their run riot at the Wankhede Stadium against Mumbai Indians (MI) in their previous match, where they beat the MI comprehensively by chasing down 184 runs in just 16.4 overs.

CSK was reeling at 65 for 4 in in the 10th over until Dhoni and Dwayne Bravo steadied the CSK ship. Bravo played a good knock of 62 runs from 36 balls. Dhoni on the other hand, managed to score only 31 runs from 37 balls, which is very unlikely of him in this format of the game.

"It was an off-day for us. We started well, but I went in and ate up too many deliveries. The pitch played well, it does under lights and I thought it (156) was only a par score. It was warming to see Bravo do well," said Dhoni in an interview to cricbuzz.com.

"If he continues this way, I can come in at four and express myself early.

"We don't have Albie Morkel now, we have Ashwin at 8 and Jadeja at 7, if we lose too many early wickets, it's bound to trouble us," added Dhoni.

When RR batsmen Ajinkya Rahane and Shane Watson came out to bat, the pitch played a little different from how it was when CSK were batting. They were timing the ball beautifully and raced to 144 runs in just 16.1 overs until Watson was cleaned up by Ravindra Jadeja.

Dhoni feels that they will bounce back in their next game as they would look to learn from their mistakes. "This is a long tournament, so, it doesn't really matter (one loss). We didn't lose by a massive margin, and hopefully, we will get better," said Dhoni. CSK will be up against Royal Challengers Banagalore in their next game on Wednesday.
