Apple's iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus may be currently doing brisk business in the market but fans are already talking about the upcoming flagship device dubbed as iPhone 7.
Release date of iPhone 7 is expected to fall in September 2016, by the time iPhone 6s completes a year in the market.
Apple never reveals details about its products but it is obvious that its flagship device will arrive in the third quarter of 2016 as the company has been traditionally releasing iPhones during this time of the year.
Interestingly, a report by GeekSnack claimed that Apple Watch 2 will be released along with iPhone 7 next year. The Apple Watch was released in March this year, so many may think that its successor will also arrive at around the same time next year. But the report claimed that the development team of the device has decided to postpone its release to September.
According to reports that have appeared so far, iPhone 7 is expected to come with specifications like A10 chip, flat LCD screen, six-element lenses, water and dust proof, wireless charger and a complete metal body.
According to a report by DigiTimes, Chi Kuo of KGI Securities had said in a note to investors that Apple is planning to make its upcoming iPhone, possibly the iPhone 7, between 6.0 and 6.5 mm thick.
However, as nothing about iPhone 7 or Apple Watch 2 has been confirmed, one has to take the reports with a pinch of salt.
