Apple's next-generation smartphone dubbed as the iPhone 7 is expected to be released in the third quarter of 2015 by the time its predecessor, the iPhone 6, completes one year in the market.
iPhone 7 is expected to be released on 9 September, according to a report by The Fuse Joplin. However, the report can't be taken as a credible one, as Apple Inc. is unlikely to reveal any information about its device, forget the date.
However, expectations on the iPhone 7 will be high following the stupendous success of its predecessors, and here are few features it must have to please its fans:
Display:
Apple hasn't brought any significant change to the looks of its iPhone devices over the years, and all the iPhone smartphones look similar except screen size. It's high time the company gives a new look to its flagship smartphone.
Battery:
If there is one feature in iPhone that users are not happy with, it has to be its almost awful battery. The iPhone 6 was expected to come with a more powerful battery; in fact there was improvement but it's still not powerful enough to please users. The upcoming iPhone 7 should have battery with long life.
Wireless Charging:
A few high-end smartphones, including the Nexus 5 have wireless charging facility. Samsung is expected to introduce the feature in its upcoming flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S6, which is expected to be unveiled at MWC 2015. Apple too should bring wireless charging to its iPhone 7.
Sapphire Crystal Glass:
Apple's iPhone 6 was in news over rumours that it would become the first smartphone to have sapphire crystal glass, which is unbreakable. However, fans were disappointed when it was not seen when launched. Now, many Apple fans will love to see the feature in the upcoming device.
Apple is tight-lipped on the iPhone 7 but several reports have claimed that it would have features like A9 chip, 14MP main camera and 4MP front snapper, and 2GB RAM.
