According to the synopsis of the episode, Sunny and MK fight to escape Quinn's grip once and for all. Meanwhile, the Baron's enemies conspire to take him down and change the Badlands forever.
In the previous episode, titled "Snake Creeps Down", Sunny found a direction when he used his broken compass in the Arza book's cutout.
After the poppy fields were abandoned, Quinn suffered a migraine and put Jade in charge to train Clippers how to harvest.
In order to look for "the boy at the Fort", the Widow took in Quinn's cogs, promising them freedom in return for loyalty.
Waldo told Ryder to take MK's pendant to Ryder's grandfather Penrith, a preacher, who said Arza is just a made-up story.
Veil asked Quinn if he killed her parents and he said it was Sunny's blade that ended their lives, not his.
When Sunny brought Petri and his Colt, Bale, to track the Widow and her Butterflies, Tilda warned MK every time he was cut, his life force would get weaker, and he would get captured.
A fight ensued between her mother and Sunny, while Bale, wanting to make his first kill, fought Tilda, but met a deadly end when MK cut himself to save her.
It is not going to be easy for Sunny and MK to deceive Quinn and even though they have somehow managed to escape, Quinn will undoubtedly come after them.
The show has been highly praised for the portrayal of strong women characters who are as prominent as the male ones. Hopefully, the upcoming season will continue to follow this theme.
